Eykan of the Second Sky is kind of a dictator of the European Union. He is seen by most people of the EU as a beacon of light, or a leader who will bring the EU out of devastation from The Resource Restoration Catastrophe.

Background

Most of his background is unknown, such as what his real name is, who his parents were, where he is from, how he took advantage of The Dark World, when he took advantage of The Dark World, and so on. However, it is known that he is a bilingual Caucasian male who speaks English (with an American accent) and German fluently.

Eykan Military Industries

Eykan of the Second Sky is the owner of a full-fledged military equipment and machine producer called Eykan Military Industries (EMI). EMI is only existent in one location, but it is still the largest producer of military goods in the country (which is not saying much, since the country just got out of a dark age). The company produces:

• Infantry armor
• Movement enhancing human exoskeletons
• Infantry weapons
• War vehicles (such as tanks and APCs)
• "Gray Weapon" soldiers
• Controversial gene and human experiments
  • "Numb Soldiers" (humans with extremely limited feeling)
  • Surgical brain modifications for zealous soldiers
  • Gene splicing between Shadow genes and human genes (Discontinued)
  • Experiments to make Shadows controllable and breedable

Though full-fledged, EMI is little known. From the dark age caused by The Resource Restoration Catastrophe, most of the availability of mass media such as television was destroyed. The priorities of television and radio broadcasting producers changed from making profit to surviving. Even if this was not so, EMI is stationed in The Dark World where snooping from the media is near impossible unless they have military assistance. Not to mention they would not get military assistance unless they made a deal with a militia. Eykan holds a monopoly over industrialized military.
